We are thrilled to see life gradually returning to normal, and we are excited to share some of the recent successes and upcoming events within the Mangalorean Catholic community in Melbourne.

We're proud to highlight the success of our recent events, including the exhilarating Mango Cup, where Mangaloreans and Goans united for an epic cricket match, and our largest-ever Membership Year, with a whopping 251 members joining us.

Additionally, we are proud to announce that over the past few months, MKC has organized a series of outstanding events, including the thrilling Cricket and Throwball tournament, an enchanting Dinner Dance, and the joyous Monthi Fest.

Furthermore, our recent event, Flavours of Mangalore, marked a significant milestone for MKC as we showcased a lineup of culinary delights from Mangalore. The menu featured traditional dishes such as Kori rotti, chicken sukka, Idlis, Dukra mass(Bafat Style), Beetroot salad, Chana tendli, and the ever-popular Vorn. The event was a massive success, and due to popular demand, we are considering including this menu in our upcoming Dinner Dance.

These events brought our community together, fostering a sense of togetherness and celebration. We are immensely grateful to all those who participated and contributed to the success of these events.

Looking ahead, we have an exciting calendar filled with a wide range of events and activities planned. We encourage each and every one of you to participate in as many of these events as possible. They offer unique opportunities to connect with fellow Mangaloreans and build lasting relationships within our vibrant community.

We extend a warm invitation to you to join us and become a member of MKC.

2. Free or subsidized entry to events such as Monthi Fest, Family BBQ, Christmas party, Cricket & Throwball tournaments and Way of the Cross amongst others.

3. Discounted tickets to our spectacular events, such as the highly anticipated May Ball.

4. The option to vote in MKC Annual General Meetings and the ability to nominate yourself for various positions within the MKC Committee, should you desire to contribute further.

We want to emphasize that becoming a member does not entail any obligations to attend meetings. We value your involvement and appreciate your support in whatever capacity you are comfortable with.

Running a community requires significant effort, and we are grateful for the assistance provided by our dedicated committee members. However, one of the most significant forms of support comes from our paid membership. Your membership contributions help cover essential costs such as insurance and enable us to continue organizing free events for the community to enjoy.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to all those who have supported us throughout the years, and we kindly encourage you to renew your membership this year as well. Your renewed commitment will allow us to bring you even more fantastic events and experiences in the coming months.

We are truly excited about the opportunities that lie ahead in this new financial year and look forward to sharing unforgettable moments with all of you. Together, let's continue building a thriving and vibrant Mangalorean Catholic community in Melbourne.
