Get ready for an unforgettable MKC Weekend Getaway with your extended Mangalorean family! This is the first time we’re hosting something of this scale and we can't wait to have you there. With limited spots, beautiful mountain surrounds, fun activities, delicious food, and the warmth of our community, this promises to be a weekend to remember!

Comfortable cabins that sleep 8 people- 2 bed rooms and 1 Lounge
Each cabin has 2 bedrooms (Either with Double bed or 2 singles each) + 1 lounge with 4 bunk beds
Total of 8 beds in 3 rooms
Includes ensuite and shower
Kitchenette - No cooking in the Cabins
Reverse-cycle air-conditioning/heating
BYO: Sheets, pillows, pillowcases, and quilts
Rooming Arrangements:
2 families can make one booking subject to availability also max 8 people in one cabin.
Couples may be paired with another couple or small family
Families and friends may request to be allocated cabins together
You have the option to book a cabin to yourself by paying extra (details below)

Saturday:
Breakfast: *Crossiants, Ham, cheese, Bread, Butter, Cereal (More options TBA)
Free time or explore Marysville or play games in the camp (Cricket, Volleyball, Table tennis)
Lunch (1PM): *BBQ - Sausages, Chicken, Beef

Sunday:

Please note the you are expected to Volunteer with cooking and cleaning (groups will be made)

Shared fridge available in the main kitchen (self-managed)
Bring sports equipment: Volleyball, cricket gear, etc.
Kids must be supervised at all times
Free time can be used to explore Marysville or exlore the camp facilities. We are planning kids activities and will keep you posted along the way
To keep costs low you are expected to help with Cooking breakfast, lunch and ensuring that the facilities are kept tidy. Roster allocation will be done.

Child $95 (5-12) per child for members only
Cabin accomodates 8 people and has 8 beds ( 2 x bedrooms sleeps 4, 1 x lounge sleeps 4)
If you'd like to book the entire cabin just for your family, there is an extra charge of $110 per empty spot (since each cabin fits 8 people).
Once you have made your deposit we will contact you for the balance payment. If payment is not received by due dates, booking will be transferred to next on waitlist. No refunds.
👉 Example:
If you are a family of 4 and want a private cabin, you’ll need to pay for the 4 extra spots to make it private:
Standard cost: $140 x 4 people = $560
Extra charge for unused 4 spots: $110 x 4 = $440
Total cost for private cabin = $1,000

Please fill in the Expression of Interest Form MKC Members get priority access to register. Payment Plan (2 Instalments): Booking Deposit: $150 per family booking, $75 for singles (To secure your spot) Fully refundable within 2 weeks of first payment Second Instalment: Due 31 October 2025.
After 2 weekf of first Deposit no refunds. Bookings can be transferred to other members of MKC
Note: Once all 150 spots are filled, we will close registrations.
Singles can make a group booking under one name (Max 8 in a Cabin - Initial depsosit will be $75 x no of people)

Q: Can I choose who I share a cabin with?
A: Yes! You can request to stay with friends/families at the time of booking and we’ll try our best to accommodate.
Q: Do I need to bring bedding?
A: Yes, please bring sheets, pillows, pillowcases, and quilts.
Q: What if I change my mind after paying the deposit?
A: You have 2 weeks after your initial deposit to cancel and receive a full refund. After that, deposits are non-refundable.
Q: Will there be vegetarian food options?
A: Yes! Veg and non-veg options will be available at all meals.(preference to be indicated at booking)
Q: Can I bring my own snacks and drinks?
A: Absolutely. You are encouraged to bring your own drinks to have a good time. Just remember, you are responsible for managing your items.
Q: Is the venue accessible?
A: The cabins and facilities are accessible, but if you have specific needs, please contact us.
Q: Can we bring Alcohol?
A: Yes its BYO Alcohol, we ask you to drink responsibily during your stay
Q: Can i bring a friend, they are non members?
A: This weekend away is partially funded by MKC for the benefit of its members. If there are unsold tickets we may allow non members at a later date. (price may vary)

By registering for the MKC Weekend Away 2026, you agree to the following terms:
Members Only
Bookings are strictly for current MKC members only.
Please do not book on behalf of non-members.
Booking & Deposit
A deposit of $150 per family and $75 per single is required to secure your spot.
Bookings are confirmed only once the deposit and final payment is received.
Refund Policy
Deposits are fully refundable within 2 weeks of initial deposit payment.
After 2 weeks, deposits are non-refundable.
If you are unable to attend, you may transfer your booking to another MKC member by notifying us.
Payment Deadlines
The remaining balance will be collected in two instalments (at booking & before 31 Oct 2025).
You will be contacted with instructions to make these payments.
Failure to pay by the due dates will result in your booking being cancelled and offered to the next person on the waitlist. No refunds will be provided.
Cabin Sharing
Room allocations will be made based on group size and availability.
You may request to share with friends or another family, and we will do our best to accommodate.
Private Cabin Option
You may request a full cabin for your family by paying $110 per unoccupied spot (based on 8 beds per cabin).
Example: Family of 4 = $560 + ($110 x 4) = $1,000
Participation & Responsibility
All attendees are expected to assist with basic cooking/cleaning duties during the weekend.
Children must be supervised at all times. MKC is not responsible for any accidents or incidents.
This is a family-friendly event. You are welcome to BYO alcohol, but we request that all attendees drink responsibly.
Excessive drinking, rowdy behaviour, or any disturbance to others will not be tolerated and may result in being asked to leave the event.
